Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution Cairo Fee earners Egypt Middle East & Africa
The dispute resolution practice in our Cairo office is growing and we are looking to hire a highly motivated senior disputes lawyer to manage a caseload of international arbitration and commercial litigation matters.
The role will consist in handling high value and complex commercial litigation and international arbitration matters in both English and Arabic.
The candidate will be based in our Cairo office but will be involved with the wider dispute resolution team of the firm. The role may also require travel to our other offices.

Technical Excellence
- Excellent knowledge of dispute resolution, commercial litigation and international arbitration

Candidate Requirements
- Regional experience is essential;
- Bilingual (Arabic and English) with excellent Arabic and English drafting skills;
- A strong academic background, training and experience gained with either a well-recognised international or regional top tier firm or a reputable intellectual property boutique;
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience or equivalent;
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a keen attention to detail;
- Clear and demonstrable commitment to developing your career in the Middle East;
- Confidence, initiative and drive to assume responsibility, work independently and take a pro-active and commercial approach to solving issues;
- A natural aptitude for business development and the ability to foster long term relationships;
- Experience in drafting pitches and proposal documents;
- Experience in the preparation of legal training material and/or delivery of training seminars or lectures would be an advantage; and
- The ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
