A Language Learning Resource Center tutor assists students in developing skills for second language learning. Together with teaching language learning strategies, tutors help language learners with vocabulary building, grammar, pronunciation, reading comprehension, listening comprehension and speaking. Fair Labor Standards Act Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency at the Intermediate 2 level of language for tutoring.
Recommendation of professor in language for tutoring.
Grade point average of 3.25 in language for tutoring.
Preferred Qualifications
Cumulative gpa of 3.0.
Equipment Operated
A variety of media equipment including telephone, computers, and WebEx classroom.
