Responsibilities

 

  • Work under the supervision of the Head of logistics and security.
  • Liaise with key employees to determine their product and service needs.
  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
  • Examine and test existing contracts.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
  • Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the organization.
  • Identify and researches potential new suppliers.
  • Assess total costs of the organization purchases.
  • Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.
  • Expect unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
  • Draft and update procurement procedures and templates (in English).
  • Report daily to the Head of logistics.

 

  • Proven working experience as a procurement officer or logistics officer/assistant.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in market assessment.
  • Talent in negotiations and networking.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
