Salary: $1200,00 /month gross salary

 

 

 

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Ensure the project baseline is planned, coordinated and implemented within the first 3 months of the project start-up.
  • For assigned projects, develop a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system (comprehensive log frame, M&E plan and indicator tracking table, data collection tools, information flow, reporting and review), to ensure quality programming and adherence to minimum standards including SPHERE and other sector standards and protocols as well as the mainstreaming of cross-cutting themes (Gender, Protection and Disability).
  • Ensure that monitoring incorporates and consider aspects at output, process, context and outcome levels for assigned projects and that appropriate data collection and reporting tools are developed and used.
  • Develop tools to gather relevant data according to donor and MH log-frames. Train field staff on data collection.
  • Synthesize and analyze M&E quantitative and qualitative data received on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure effective monitoring through regular field, conducting data verification, quality assessments and reporting the findings.
  • Coordinate periodic review with partners to facilitate dialogue and intentional learning and reflection from assessments, program progress monitoring etc., to improve project implementation and project quality.
  • Prepare and lead end of project evaluations as per donor requirements.
  • Support Project Managers in preparation of donor reporting by providing information coming from monitoring findings and data collected from field staff in a timely manner.
  • Identify operational needs (material, logistics, financial) at field level on a weekly basis and coordinate the response with relevant support departments in close cooperation with the Project management
  • Prepare a weekly and monthly activity report to be shared with the project manager. Perform any other task assigned by the project management to support and improve the project implementation;
  • Coordination with local stockholders, local authorities, Mokhtars…etc.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Bachelors in social sciences field
  • Ability to write very good quality reports in English is required
  • Basic working knowledge of statistical packages (Excel, etc.) is required
  • 1-2 years’ field experience in Program Design and Development, Program Monitoring and Evaluation, and Capacity Building.
  • Management skills with an intercultural approach
  • Experience working with a diverse staff including expats.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Energetic and proactive attitude towards the humanitarian field

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in business administration, development, or other relevant field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in monitoring, evaluation, design and development, and capacity building
  • Basic working knowledge of statistical packages (Excel, etc.) is required
  • Fluency in Arabic and English mandatory
  • Display cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age sensitivity and adaptability
  • Treats all people fairly and with impartiality
  • Good communication skills, including ability to write concise and analytical reports in English
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to changes and unexpected demands upon time
  • Ability to work with people from different backgrounds to deliver quality products within a short timeframe
  • Client-oriented, open to feedback
