MEAL Officer

[Mosul,Iraq ]

The MEAL Officer will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HRF’s MEAL systems on the project, in consultation with relevant donor staff. Responsibilities will include:

• Perform data collection, analysis and learning activities with the aim of enhancing the accountability and efficiency of the project.
• Provide support and assist in development and strengthening of M&E systems.
• Support the overall monitoring of program activities while adhering to M&E protocols.
• Draft and revise data collection and other tools e.g. logical frameworks, indicators and data flow charts.
• Submit reports demonstrating the findings of M&E activities including challenges faced and lessons learned and communicate all relevant information to HQ-based International Programmes Officer, thus contributing to enhancing HRF’s M&E policy and guidelines.
• Ensure proper handling and movement of any project monitoring, assessment, and survey files
• Undertake any other reasonable duties that are consistent with the job and at its level of responsibility as and when required by the management.

• Ensure proper handling and movement of any project monitoring, assessment, and survey files
• Undertake any other reasonable duties that are consistent with the job and at its level of responsibility as and when required by the management.   

• Degree in statistics  or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar field-based MEAL role.
• Familiarity with data collection methods and tools, including KOBO.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic. 
• Right to live and work in Iraq.
• Willing to start work immediately.
