We are looking for MSL at Roche Diagnostics for 1 year period.
Job Description:
- Interacts with HCPs to understand their views, preferences and interests, in the assigned disease area and where Roche can partner with them to meet their needs
- Helps to profile physician practices, needs, preferences and views of new data
- Determines physician interest in ongoing research and educational events
- Participates/support the Affiliate Medical Manager in the execution of local advisory boards
- Provides support to HCPs on the development of supplementary materials
- Provides medical expertise to customers
- Responds to unsolicited, product related questions from physicians in accordance to local laws, regulations and codes
- Serves as the scientific bridge and point of contact with key stakeholders (e.g clinicians and laboratory HCPs)
- Provides scientific support and scientific information to local Marketing colleagues during their interactions with customers
- Provides scientific support to local Market Access colleagues during discussions with payers to provide the scientific information to support payers in their decisions on government or hospital formulary / guidelines / protocols, etc.
- Provides disease-specific and scientific training support to internal staff
- Delivers product related presentations
- Closely follows up current data and literature to maintain up to date knowledge in disease area.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University or MSc/PhD degree, preferably in a Life Science field, certification in Medical field preferred
- Professional experience in the diagnostics/pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry or related experience preferred
- Background in Oncology disease area is an asset
- Fluency in English
- Medical communication experience preferred
- Knowledge of interpreting scientific/clinical data and translating data into medical messages
- Excellent Communication / Interpersonal skills
