We are currently hiring part-time role players for culture training exercises with military personnel. The
purpose of the training is to help military personnel prepare to interact across various cultures during
deployments. Role players who speak the following languages take priority: Arabic.
Work Hours
Part-time. Role players are needed only about every 6-10 weeks. Trainings last one week. During the
training week, role players typically work the mornings of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus
Thursday afternoon (typically 16-20 hours).
Location
Navy bases near Imperial Beach and Coronado, CA.
Environment
Work occurs mostly outdoors, in all weather. The area is dusty and unpaved.
Job Duties
Memorize the training scenario and one’s role within that scenario
Play the role accurately during interaction with military personnel
Attend occasional training meetings
Promptly correspond with supervisors through email (in English)
Required Qualifications
Legal to work in the US
Born and raised to adulthood outside the US, and natively speak a non-English language
Ability to remember the role play scenario and your role
Basic English communication ability
Preferred, but not required
Lived in the US no longer than 15 years
Military experience
Acting experience
