Operations Supervisor

We are looking to add a locally based Operations Supervisor / Lead to our team in Erbil. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing project operations in-country.

Duties

• Reporting to the VP, you will provide direction and oversight to operations within our contingency operations group in Iraq.
• Interface with the client and internal staff.
• Effectively manage subcontractors and vendors to achieve company goals.
• Provide cost analysis of projects (during & after) and estimates for new projects.
• Review Vendor / Supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordination of logistics and personnel in-country.
• Effectively manage local and other country national temporary workforce.
• Report writing – produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Provide support to the business development team as required.
• Review SOW to ensure compliant delivery of contract work.
• Provide input to bids and tenders.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience managing projects and operations in the oil and gas market.
• At least 2 years in a client-facing position.
• Bilingual Kurdish / English (Read, Write and Speak).
• Arabic language is an advantage.
• Computer literate (Office 365 including word and excel).
• Valid Driver License.
• Able to pass a background/base access check.
