OSINT/PAI Analyst

Contingent on funding:
Located at Lackland AFB, TX. This Position seeks those attributes deemed mission critical to providing exemplary service in the billet of an Information Operations OSINT/PAI Analyst at the Combatant Command (CCMD) level. Seeking high energy, organized, language-enabled OSINT/PAI Analyst. Candidate will serve in support of a MILDEC team at the CCMD Level. The position requires programmatic support to facilitate MILDEC Operations planning, targeting data management, and synchronization of non-lethal operations and actions to achieve Commander objectives. Key tasks include PAI research to identify critical incidents and trends in the Information Environment (IE); analysis of adversary influence TTPS, key influence networks and nodes, and content for exploitation; creation of graphic and textual MILDEC product prototypes for dissemination by web-based IRCs; linguistic and analytic support to MILDEC planners and ISIOs. Position will require candidate work Monday-Friday with flexibility to respond to non-standard work schedule (i.e. extended work week). CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required. Candidate will ensure US passport is current at all times.

Using managed attribution networks and specialized tools/platforms, conduct PAI research and report on critical events in the Information Environment in support of MILDEC and other sensitive activities’ targeting, planning, and exploitation efforts.

Monitor and assess adversary influence activities across the spectrum of open source traditional and non-traditional media platforms, to include Deep and Dark Web-based platforms.

Perform PAI research and Target Audience Analysis to optimize DOD messaging for friendly, neutral and adversarial audiences.

Collect, assess, and report reflections of MILDEC activities in traditional and non-traditional media to provide MOE for existing influence programs and to guide future plans.

Review and recommend message content and strategies for MILDEC planning and current non-lethal operations and activities.

Identify critical influence nodes and emerging informational targets of opportunity worldwide for rapid exploitation in support of US policy objectives.

Develop culturally and linguistically appropriate MILDEC product prototypes for distribution by DOD and Interagency influence activities, including text, graphic, and audiovisual products.

Advise Commanders and Planners on most-current and emerging electronic media platforms, exploitation tools, information systems, and influence TTPs.

Answer Requests for Information (RFI) on individuals of interest, target audiences, social and cultural trends, and regional events based on open source research and retrieval and analysis of data contained in classified databases.

Required Skills

Required Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum of 8 years of related experience

Professional proficiency in Arabic and Farsi

Direct experience supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) MILDEC Operations

Proficiency conducting research across traditional, non-traditional, and social media platforms

Marketing analysis and production experience

Familiarity with DOD OSINT and PAI policies and best practices

Active TS/SCI clearance, qualified for SAP/STO access

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with DOD managed attribution systems and OSINT best practices

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premier Pro

Familiarity with one or more DOD misattribution or non-attribution research platforms

Experience deploying to support joint combat operations

Familiarity with Electronic Attack and Electronic Defense platforms and capabilities, Special Technical Operations, Offensive Counterintelligence, Military Deception, Computer Network Operations or Cyber Effects Operations, and Military Information Support Operations
