At Eni, we are looking for a Planning & Control Expert within Eni Iraq in Iraq. You will be responsible for supporting the project services manager for the planning, scheduling, cost budgeting and reporting of upstream Projects. You will also provide support for Project time and cost control, monitor the project progress, provide accurate project time and cost reports, verifying time and cost performance against plan, and identifying areas of potential time target and budget overrun requiring corrective action.
As a member of Eni Iraq you will be responsible for:
- Project planning and control, use of project control tools.
- Support in Budgeting and cost control exercises.
- Project work and cost progress analysis:
- Analysing all progress-based invoices and supporting documentation before submission for payment processing.
- Liaise with the engineering / construction groups with respect to progress reporting
- Support for preparation & revisions of project procedures on planning and control.
- Preparation of project WBS and CBS according to cost estimates and planning.
- Detailed schedule analysis of project activities and support for the budget/forecast preparation.
- Control of contractors and project team schedules producing project progress reports:
- Schedule review for level 1,2,3 &4 Plans as fully constrained and resourced networks, including the levelling of work within agreed priorities, resource levels and targets.
- Ensure compliance with the work breakdown structure and coding.
- Assist with maintaining performance measures for productivity, reworks and achievements against plans.
- Recognise and modify plans arising from the impact of variations.
- Plan and control of procurement and contract plans, preparation of contractual procedures/specs, support to contract administration.
- Include detailed contractors’ schedules into the project master schedule and identify critical path activities.
- Check physical progress against plans, support for the estimate to complete.
- Preparation of Project reports related to work progress.
- Perform earned value analysis.
- Proficient using delay analysis methodologies (Impacted as-planned, collapsed as-built, as-planned vs as-built, time impact analysis, window analysis, etc…)
- Identifying delay attribution related to schedule delays

- Experience in oil and gas projects
- Education preferable in Secondary Level Technical/Economical Education (degree preferred)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Intermediate knowledge of the local language (if required)
- Develop Project Schedule Baseline: Sequence activities, Estimate activity resources & durations
- Schedule & Cost Risk Analysis
- Create WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
- Create ABS (Activities Breakdown Structure)
- Providing support in Project Budget Determination
- Project Schedule Management
- Schedule Control, Baseline & Forecast update, what-if scenarios
- Preparation of Project Performance Report (Weekly, Monthly) of the general status update, scheduling, authorization situation, criticalities
- Project Scope Control & Change Management
- Project Master Data Base management
- Specialist software knowledge & effective use: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, etc…
- Business Plan, 4 Years Plan and Budgets/Forecast of development projects
