Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Duties (Summary)

The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Section’s engagements with a range of Iraqi ministries and criminal justice sector and rule of law entities responsible for Iraq’s civilian security and rule of law.  S/he serves as a subject matter expert on law enforcement and rule of law issues; develops background material for meetings, negotiations, etc.; and acts as interpreter/translator when required.  Coordinates international and regional travel for training candidates and supports USG visits. S/he also provides project oversight and end-use monitoring (EUM) for INCLE-funded projects.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Education

Two (2) years of general college or university studies is required

Prior Work Experience

Seven (7)  years of experience in law enforcement or university teaching related to legal and justice issues is required.

Language Required 

 

English and Arabic Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing is required. (This May be Tested)
