Hurras Network:

“Hurras” is a Non-governmental Organization specialized in child care and protection, and it works on preventing any case of violence, abuse, and exploitation cases, that children are exposed to in all environments, and that is by acting against it, and eliminating them by several events, such as education, rights, protection, training, and psychological support.


Purpose of the position:
To supervise the executive aspect of the network’s projects in cooperation with the field team and working to achieve all the required deliverables of the donors in cooperation with the program manager and other concerned departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively attend the meetings of the coordination bodies and display the outputs of the organization’s work, and prepare letters to explain the obstacles related to the responding and advocacy to fill the gaps.
  2. Being aware of the studies and researches related to the response in addition to the response plans released by the international parties and coordination platforms, as well as being aware of the available funding opportunities.
  3. Contribute to building relationships with partners.
  4. Follow up the capacity-building plan to understanding the technical activities of the network.
  5. Prepare and write project proposals.
  6. Prepare final projects’ budgets including the narrative.
  7. Preparing the HR list required of the projects with the loaded/allocated percentage for every staff.
  8. Prepare a timeline plan of the Projects including the narrative.
  9. Implementation of assessment needs and follow-up on the preparation of the market surveys related to pricing the requirements of activities.
  10. Prepare and develop forms, templates, checklists, and other tools related to the execution of the project activities.
  11. Explaining the project work plan and the response for those concerned with the activities, and holding periodic sessions to update the information of the work team, and provide them with the required technical support.
  12. Follow up on project activities “procurement- payments – HR – technical meetings – meetings with the partners /donors – implementation of activities”.
  13. Follow up on submitting reports “monthly reports -weekly updates – systems reports – emergency reports – financial reports -Protection reports – data reports” on time.
  14. Effectively Participation in the donors’ meetings related to the explanation of response activities.
  15. Preparing case studies, success stories, lessons learned related to the implementation of the activities of the projects.
  16. Monitoring the exchange rates and comparing them with the implemented activities and ensuring that they are compatible with the project payments.
  17. Managing the project closing file, including the delivery of activities and submit final reports, and management of the resource file at the end of the project, management of overspending and underspending in budgets, and shift of human resources to new projects.

Required Work experience and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in a related field providing the applicant has a Business Administration degree, or 5 years of relevant work experience in case the applicant has no Business Administration degree.
  • Previous experience working for NGOs is preferred.
  • Protection projects proposal writing skills.

Required Skills :

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
  • Strong Computer Skills.
  • Strong communication, organizing, and coordination skills.
  • Strong analyzing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
