Job Purpose
The White Helmets is seeking to hire a Project Assistant to be part of Syria Access to Health Activity programme. The project assistant will support the implementation of the ambulance project through following the project and ensure smooth operations. The selected candidate will conduct related desk reviews, organize meetings and workshops related to policy development and collect outputs and revisions of all produced materials.
Responsibilities
- Project implementation:
Provide operational, administrative and logistical support to the project teams, external experts and consultants throughout all phases of the project cycle to ensure smooth project delivery.
Effectively communicate with team members, consultants, and supporting committees on progress with daily and weekly updates.
compile briefing materials and deliver meeting and project reports
Any other tasks as may be required in support of the project activities.
Organize and facilitate different committees’ workshops and revisions according to the project timeline.
Provide proper editing for output documents considering all comments and inputs of different stakeholders.
Organize and prepare minutes of meetings.
Research:
Conduct project-related research on a variety of aspects
Conduct desk reviews
Provide input to improve the quality of the field teams’ notes, transcripts, and output.
Note: the above-mentioned responsibilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart or title.**
Qualification (Education/Work Experience)
A. Essential:
- University Degree. Health related subject would be an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting reports, including narrative and visual components.
- Strong organizational and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Native or fluent Arabic (Speaking and writing)
- Very good level in English language
B. Desirable:
- Master’s Degree. Health related subject would be an asset.
- Research background.
