Note: The position will be based either in PWJ Duhok office or PWJ Shariya IDPs Camp Office
Principal responsibilities:
- Lead field program team and field activities with multi taking capability
- Support Program Coordinator in planning and management of the projects
- Supervise and manage the projects to ensure deliverables, and meeting budgets.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders for the projects.

Division of Responsibilities: 30% Office Work, 20% field visit in Sinjar (Ninewa governorate), 50% in Shariya town (Duhok / KRG region)
Tasks in details:
- Management of the Program Unit
- Supervise field program staffs and provide necessary on-the-Job-training.
- Provide program/project reports in timely manner to Programme Coordinator.
- Maintain effectively and efficiently office properties and assets.
- Liaising with all units, Program, Engineering and Admin Unit through the correct channels.
- Be responsible for the field program team management and allocation of the workload to the program staff
- Projects Management
- Work closely with Programme Coordinator to carry out the projects.
- Monitor all activities in timely manner and report to Programme Coordinator
- Lead the assessments of areas where many vulnerable groups live and submitting proposals of projects, considering all needed factors.
- Lead and assist the project staff in conducting surveys to collect required data on all projects and prepare the report
- Lead the post monitoring of all the project
- Prepare project report on progress when required.
- Prepare tender documents for project when required
- Coordination
- Represent PWJ in the area of projects.
- Build relationship with and work closely with relevant local authorities, Local and International NGOs, UN agencies, and other organizations in the field for smooth implementation of PWJ projects.
- Attend the cluster meeting and update PWJ activities with other organizations as well as collecting information about current situation of people of concern.
- Provide assist and support to any other PWJ activities.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Knowledge and experience required:
– Experience more than 4 years of work with UN/ NGOs
– Experience more than 2 years of work in at least one of the following
- Livelihood Project (preferably leading role)
- Training management (for youth or adult)
– Good Knowledge and experience in humanitarian work
– Knowledge and understanding of protection, GBV and PSEA
– Master’s degree
– Computer literate (Word. Excel, Power-point)
– Fluent in English, Arabic and Kurdish – both spoken and written.
– Ability to organize tasks simultaneously and prioritize work.
– Honest, responsible and in good physical condition to meet the job’s demands.
– Willingness to adhere to and carry out Peace Winds Japan rules
