- Description:
- Provide therapy sessions to individual survivors of GBV that have been identified for a specialized service, and which have been referred by case workers and/ or other stakeholders.
- Conduct psychological assessments, including assessment of mental health states, suicide risk assessments and bio-psycho-social.
- Plan and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions (individual and/or group) utilizing appropriate and evidence-based interventions.
- Evaluate the outcomes of interventions and satisfaction surveys.
- Provide psychoeducational support sessions to survivor`s family members (if needed).
- Conduct home-to-home visits (if needed) for at-risk GBV survivors.
- Relevant University degree or a higher qualification in Psychology.
- A minimum of 2 years’ successful Psychosocial support relevant Child Protection (CP) & GBV management experience in the humanitarian field, with a minimum 1 year in a specific Women’s Protection role.
- Strong conceptual and practical understanding of Women’s Protection issues and approaches in humanitarian contexts, including the constraints/risks and cultural sensitivities of work in Iraq.
- Fluency in Turkmen and Arabic with English a plus.
