Job Function/ Description:
- Support all M&E initiatives for assigned grant(s)/project(s) including monitoring data quality, tracking the progress of activities, and contributing to staff capacity building initiatives as necessary.
- Develop and review monitoring and evaluation reports to ensure high quality and submission on time.
- Supervise regular data collection through implementing partners and ensure quality of the data by random verifications and validations
- Record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a safe and accessible way
- Analyze and discuss findings based on regular monitoring data
- Provide technical support on M&E and evidence-based recommendations to the relevant Project Manager and Partners.
- Ensure that implementation of field activities adheres to Blumont s monitoring and evaluation system
- Support teammates in conducting baseline and end line surveys
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports.
- Support M&E Manager/Senior M&E Officer in creating a framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities.
- Support the M&E Manager and Senior M&E Officer in defining and implementing the key project performance indicators (KPI) as well as monitoring them throughout the duration of the projects
- Assist Program staff and the M&E Manager/Senior M&E Officer in clarifying project information needs
- Performs other duties as assigned by M&E Manager/ Senior M&E Officer.
- Get back to the Program manager/ Senior M&E Officer and have her/his approval before interacts with local authorities.
- Keep the Project Manager posted about any updates in the work processes and procedures and support her/him as needed to ensure the project success.
- Provide the Project Manager with the needed paperwork to help her/him better monitor and control the activities and to help her/him with better planning.
- Work closely with the program team to ensure the project success.
- Any other related duties assigned by the supervisor to ensure program success.
Required Education & Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Information Management, Project Management, Engineering, Finance or other relevant academic background (essential), Master’s Degree (desirable)
- Two years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience (essential)
- Capacity to produce high-quality briefs and reports in English.
- Good level of proficiency in Windows Excel and quantitative analysis
- Ability to design M&E tools, surveys, surveillance systems, and evaluations
- Experience in using and digital data collection tools
- Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity of others
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good command of English, Kurdish, and Arabic
- Experience in a non-governmental organization or in the United Nations (desirable).
- Willingness to travel within the project’s intervention areas
- Flexibility, commitment, patience and a good sense of humor.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
