Job Function/ Description:

 

  • Support all M&E initiatives for assigned grant(s)/project(s) including monitoring data quality, tracking the progress of activities, and contributing to staff capacity building initiatives as necessary.
  • Develop and review monitoring and evaluation reports to ensure high quality and submission on time.
  • Supervise regular data collection through implementing partners and ensure quality of the data by random verifications and validations
  • Record, manage and preserve monitoring and evaluation data in a safe and accessible way
  • Analyze and discuss findings based on regular monitoring data
  • Provide technical support on M&E and evidence-based recommendations to the relevant Project Manager and Partners.
  • Ensure that implementation of field activities adheres to Blumont s monitoring and evaluation system
  • Support teammates in conducting baseline and end line surveys
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports.
  • Support M&E Manager/Senior M&E Officer in creating a framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities.
  • Support the M&E Manager and Senior M&E Officer in defining and implementing the key project performance indicators (KPI) as well as monitoring them throughout the duration of the projects
  • Assist Program staff and the M&E Manager/Senior M&E Officer in clarifying project information needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned by M&E Manager/ Senior M&E Officer.
  • Get back to the Program manager/ Senior M&E Officer and have her/his approval before interacts with local authorities.
  • Keep the Project Manager posted about any updates in the work processes and procedures and support her/him as needed to ensure the project success.
  • Provide the Project Manager with the needed paperwork to help her/him better monitor and control the activities and to help her/him with better planning.
  • Work closely with the program team to ensure the project success.
  • Any other related duties assigned by the supervisor to ensure program success.

 

Required Education & Experience and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Information Management, Project Management, Engineering, Finance or other relevant academic background (essential), Master’s Degree (desirable)
  • Two years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience (essential)
  • Capacity to produce high-quality briefs and reports in English.
  • Good level of proficiency in Windows Excel and quantitative analysis
  • Ability to design M&E tools, surveys, surveillance systems, and evaluations
  • Experience in using and digital data collection tools
  • Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity of others
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English, Kurdish, and Arabic
  • Experience in a non-governmental organization or in the United Nations (desirable).
  • Willingness to travel within the project’s intervention areas
  • Flexibility, commitment, patience and a good sense of humor.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
