Position Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), non-exempt, 100% in person,
Pay Rate: $18/hour

Responsibilities:
Provide case management services for newly arrived refugees, assisting them in the road to self sufficiency and integration.
Responds to client requests for assistance in a timely and appropriate manner.
Follows project policies as stipulated in the grant contract and memorandum of understanding and as directed by the funder. Consults with supervisor regularly on case progress and attends case management meetings regularly.
Skills/Abilities that are a Must-Have:
Familiarity with social service delivery and underlying philosophies or willingness to learn
Experience working or volunteering with individuals with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
Basic typing and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to write case notes and reports in English using MS Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a part of a team
Arabic and Swahili preferred
Valid California Driver’s License and operating vehicle with insurance
