Teaching schedule: This course will be offered in a virtual, synchronous format Monday (11:30 – 1:20 pm), and Friday (12:30 – 2:20 pm)
Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties
An intermediate course enhancing skills in modern standard Arabic through reading materials with the goal of improving comprehension in both written and spoken contexts.
2 weekly lectures, no tutorials.
Required Qualifications:
Eligible candidates are those with a completed PhD as well as graduate students whose university funding has expired; doctoral students who apply must have completed all course work and comprehensive exams

- Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
