Hiring firm: ARFADA for Development and Consultations.

ARFADA is a Turkish consultancy firm based in Gaziantep, Turkey that provides third party monitoring and evaluation services in Turkey and Syria for humanitarian response projects.**

The senior evaluation expert will perform the following responsibilities:

· Provide technical and methodological support to the evaluation team leader for designing and delivering appropriate evaluation design and methodology;

· Support evaluation preparatory phase including facilitation of the inception workshop and preparation of the inception report with appropriate evaluation methodology and design, data collection tools, stakeholder mapping etc;

· Support the preparation of all evaluation deliverables, including the analyses and synthesis of evaluation evidence and reports writing;

· Support the validation meetings with various clients and donors at the country and regional level;

· Support the preparation of evaluation knowledge and communication products.

Required Skills and Experience

Academic Qualifications:

· PHD, master’s degree in health, social sciences, management, and other related areas;

Experience:

· At least 10 years of proven experience in evaluating programmes/projects; Experience in evaluating programmes/projects in humanitarian and development related fields; sectors include Health, Protection, FSL, Shelter, early recovery, and education.

· Experience and expertise in project design, management, and monitoring and evaluation;

· Familiar with the multicultural environment especially in MENA

Language:

· Native, or an excellent knowledge of English with proven writing skills
