Programme planning and implementation

  1. Evaluating performance and providing suitable feedback, balancing criticism with positivity and motivation;
  2. Assessing strengths and weaknesses in a participant’s performance and identifying areas for further development;
  3. Adapting to the needs and interests of group or individual participants;
  4. Communicating instructions and commands using clear, simple language;
  5. Demonstrating an activity by breaking the task down into a sequence;
  6. Encouraging participants to gain and develop skills, knowledge and techniques;
  7. Ensuring that participants train and perform to a high standard of health and safety at all times;
  8. Inspiring confidence and self-belief;
  9. Developing knowledge and understanding of fitness, injury, sports psychology, nutrition and sports science;
  10. OR Developing knowledge on arts, handcraft as designated by the program curriculum
  11. Acting as a role model, gaining the respect and trust of the youth you work with;
  12. Liaising with other partners in performance management, such as physiotherapists, doctors and case workers;
  13. Working to a high legal and ethical standard at all times, particularly in relation to issues such as child safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
  14. Regularly arrange assessment and ask the feedback from the youth.

 

Others related to child protection (CP) issue

1.    Identify if there is any Child protection issue within the program implementation

2.    Identify the CP incidents if any, inform and immediately report it to line manager

Resource management

1.    Use programme resources effectively and with care.

2.    Facilitate to mobilize local resources and do maximum use of them.

3.    Be responsible for his/her own continuing training to develop his/her skills

Reporting

1.     Ensure proper record keeping of all activities.

2.     Periodically collect data and regularly update individual monitoring files of the Programme’s beneficiaries.

  1. Keep proper records of expenditures and report on these to the line manager.

Personal and team management

1.     Communicate and collaborate in accordance with the communication contract.

2.     Communicate with the delegation, zones and beneficiaries and keep them informed.

3.     Participate in the management of the programme’s activities, according to the strategies for reaching the objectives.

4.     Identify the problems associated with the delivery of the programme and inform HR, logistics, beneficiaries.

5.     Attend and take part in the meetings necessary for passing on information for the smooth running of activities.

6.     Help his/her line manager in setting up the activities schedule every week.
