IDI will hire a Start-up Commercialization Expert (Non-key Expert) for an EU-funded project in Turkey.
Startup Commercialization Expert (SCE) shall assist Key Expert 2 in the implementation of the D-Tech Incubation Program and internationalization activities. SCE will be expected to deliver tailored mentor support services to onboarded start ups by conducting ongoing one-to-one mentoring sessions. SCE will be expected to maintain presence in Turkey, at the duty station, during the specific activities of the project. The expert will be reporting to the Key Expert 2 on the progress of the onboarded startups and all incubation and internationalization related project activities.
We are looking for candidates who are eligible with all the criteria below.
Minimum Qualifications and Fields of Expertise:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Minimum 10 years of general professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in delivering commercialization support services in a startup support mechanism targeting technology-based start-ups (e.g. accelerator, incubator, mentoring scheme, any early-stage technology funding/investment mechanism, life sciences, biotechnology, health technology etc.)
- Proven experience in start-up mentoring with minimum 10 start-ups within the last 3 (three) years
- Good command of English (speaking, reading and writing)
All experts must be independent and free from conflicts of interest in the responsibilities they take on.
