Position Summary:Provide support within the Supply Chain department with regards to the management of communication between co-workers, stakeholders and external parties required as part of the administration effort of all tendering activities.Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Primary Responsibilities:

All duties relating to the administration of Invitation to Tenders (ITT) and Request for Quotations (RFQ). (duties will include but not be limited to the issuance, receipt, control, filing, distribution of all ITTs and RFQs including communication both within the Supply Chain department and other stakeholders within the company.)

 

  • Secondary Responsibilities:

Provide ad-hoc clerical support within the supply chain department such as administration and filing of documents both hard copy and electronically, arranging meetings and taking meeting minutes if required, maintain and control of departmental registers, compilation of data and reporting, other administrative tasks as required.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Only Iraqi nationals will be considered due to localization.
  • Candidate must have experience in a related field.
  • Candidate must be highly organised.
  • Candidate must have the flexibility to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Candidate must be a proactive worker and have excellent communication skills and the ability to work individually or as a member of a team.
  • Candidate must possess a good level of computer skills and as a minimum have solid experience in Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Candidate must be fluent in English, written and oral.
  • Candidate must have experience working in an office environment ideally for an international company with expatriate staff.
  • Candidate will ideally possess a background or demonstrate experience in a similar administration role, ideally within the Tender department of an oil and gas company.

 

Preference will be made to candidates that have completed education in a related subject, such as business administration and show an interest to learn more about the oil and gas industry.

Preference will be made to candidates that already have an understanding of the procurement function within an organisation.
