Job title: Video Producer Assistant

Job type: Full time                                                         

Place of work (City, Governorate): Duhok, Kurdistan region, Iraq

Contract period: 6 (six) months with possibility of extension

Salary grade: L1

Number of Jobs: 1(one) job

Probational period: 2 (two) months

Working hours: Sunday to Thursday from 08:00-04:00 PM

Requirements for recruitment (please specify desired or obligatory):

Bachelor’s degree in Film/Video Production, Communications, Journalism, Television Production, Media Arts or related area. 

Responsibilities and Tasks: 

  • Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for recoding the heritage videos.
  • Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with other projects to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
  • Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
  • Develop production schedules.
  • Record and edit video and sound project, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over, media management and archiving project media.
  • Manage video library.

Preferred skills and knowledge:

  • 2 years’ experience in video production editing motion graphics/design or related field
  • Experience in using professional cameras.
  • Current awareness of trends in video production
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills work ethic and commitment to learning
  • Experience in the legal industry a plus
  • Videographer experience a plus
  • Excellent in Arabic, English and Kurmanji.
