Vocational Training Expert

[Mosul,Iraq ]

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Vocational Training Expert will contribute to the skills development of 220 youth and women to respond to construction and housing market needs. Responsibilities will include:

• Develop a Rapid Market Analysis and Training Needs Assessment jointly with the Project Manager and MEAL Officer.
• Check out and select training facilities and liaise with them to establish the training topics, the duration and the number of hours per training based on the skills and practices that need to be acquired, as determined by the Rapid Market Analysis and Training Needs Assessment findings.
• Creating and/or tailoring skills development curriculum.
• Delivering skills development training.
• Organise a three-day job matching fair to link trainees with Mosul businesses jointly with the  Project Manager.
• Providing mentorship to a diverse group of beneficiaries.

• University educated in a relevant field, preferably Education, vocational training or other related field.

• Minimum 5 years experience in training development and facilitation.
• Proven experience in implementing projects related to skills development / vocational training.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic. 
• Right to live and work in Iraq.
• Willing to start work immediately.
