Position Summary:

This position reports to the Government Relations Manager and provides a wide range of administrative support including delivering documents and coordinating with government departments in the KRG and following up on updates.

 

Ensures the Government Relations Department runs smoothly by working collaboratively and maintaining an upbeat, positive and attitude. This position is also responsible for other administrative activities that support the company as assigned by the General Manager.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • File all incoming and outgoing documents keeping in mind proper record management
  • Translate company documents (English/Kurdish)
  • Coordinate customs clearance process for all company related imports/exports
  • Ensure effective record-keeping of all company/government correspondence (to/from), including notification and distribution internally as required.
  • Coordinate process for all expatriate personnel residencies and visas for company.
  • Coordinate all paperwork required to expat residency renewal.
  • Submit and follow up with the MNR on all Security Clearance applications for staff.
  • Perform any other duties required within scope.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSc in Administration or similar degree.
  • Fluent written and spoken Kurdish.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrate drive for results through goal setting and achievement.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to think logically and operationally and apply knowledge within sphere of influence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and establish targets.
  • Ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives and make recommendations.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • A minimum of (3) years’ experience in a similar role.
