Job Purpose
Rwanga Foundation is implementing the project of Supporting the General Education Directorate-Erbil to Implement the Governorate Education Sector Plan 2019-2022. The project contributes to improving the professional and educational conditions of the teaching staff, students, and administration staff in schools and in the education sector throughout the established committees. Rwanga Foundation will also provide the financial and logistical support to help GDoE achieve the objectives in the GESP 2019-2022 and try its best to connect this project with other future projects implemented by the Foundation to ensure the project’s success and sustainability.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Specific duties will include the following:
- Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures
•Monitor all project activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the project output;
•Recommend further improvement of the logical framework;
•Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success;
•Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results;
•Monitor the sustainability of the project’s results;
•Provide feedback to the Project Coordinator on project strategies and activities;
•Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the Project’s Management;
•Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system Develop indicators and a monitoring strategy for the project;
•Provide inputs, information, and statistics for quarterly, annual, and other reports to Project Management Team;
•Perform other duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in project management or business administration field
- At least two years of working experience in/with NGO/INGO.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications.
- Required competencies: team player, effective communicator, successful negotiator, creative and analytical thinker, active learner, able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to function effectively under stressful conditions such as heavy workloads, extensive travel, and deadlines.
LANGUAGES SKILLS REQUIRED
Fluency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic, both spoken and written is required.
