Job Description:
Coverent is seeking an Arabic Language Analyst to support research and program evaluation activities for a client in the US Intelligence Community. On this multi-year project, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your analytic and language skills to data collection and data analysis activities in a team environment. This project features the opportunity to interact with a wide range of key stakeholders, including those at senior levels. This is an exciting opportunity for an intellectually curious, energetic analyst to work on a project with real impact helping our client reach its mission goals.
Position Responsibilities
Analyze all-source Arabic-language data and assemble findings into briefings and other written and verbal deliverables.
Work productively in a team-focused environment that includes data scientists, SMEs, and analysts with varying skillsets.
Brief Senior-level customers on research plans, status of activities, findings and recommendations
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
Arabic language – intermediate proficiency or higher for reading/listening (2/2 on ILR or equivalent scale)
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an analytic role in an IC component
Experience developing presentations and providing briefings to middle and senior management
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including visual representation of data using charts and graphs
Proficiency with MS PowerPoint
Ability to perform in an individual contributor role while also excelling in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
Previous experience working with social media data
Proficiency with MS Excel
Previous experience working on teams with data scientists
Previous experience in a targeting role
