The Opportunity

The Project Coordinator FSL and CP is a mid-level position based in Havijah Kirkuk under direct supervision of Field Manager Kirkuk with strong working relationship and technical support/ guidance with FSL and CP Specialist. The Project Coordinator FSL and CP will be responsible for coordination with field team and partners and support Field Manager in ensuring that day to day implementation, documentation and financial management functions are performed in accordance with SCI’s policies, agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). In addition, s/he will support Field Manager in internal and external coordination as well as assessments, reporting and program development activities.
In order to be successful you will bring/have:

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
•    Work Closely with Field Manger, field team and local partners to facilitate, support and coordinate the project activities.
•    Maintain and update regulary CP and livelihoods activities/ beneficiaries database in Kirkuk with inputs from field team and partners.
•    Coordinate and follow up with partner in field for updated status of program implementation and provide any support / troubleshooting required to partner.
•    Coordinate field team, MEAL and communication team for case studies and success stories.
•    Support FM in external coordination with Emergency CP and Livelihoods sub cluster in Kirkuk. Represent SCI in these meetings along with of FM. Update activity info of livelihoods and CP monthly basis along with MEAL team.
•    Designing tools for assessment, monitoring, planning and progress along with MEAL team.
•    Support field team for organizing trainings and required material (technical curriculum, guidline notes, etc.)
•    Keep record of all required documents related to project, beneficiary selection, training and case management.
•    Work collaboratively with SCI’s logistics and finance staff as required to process Purchase Requests (PR) for project activities.
•    Develop background documents, briefs and presentations related to the project/s.
•    Weekly and monthly reporting on project activitoies. Prepare quarterly and final report.

Coordination

•    Coordinate and contribute to community-based system and psychosocial support for CP Social cohesion and FSL components
•    Establish of effective community based case management and care arrangement.
•    In collaboration with procurement staffs raise PRs, follow up on Project expenditure, forecast and track PRs accordingly.
•    Arrange proper referral systems like health issues, Disabilities, GBV with other IPS to provide the necessary assistance for EVC(Extremely Vulnerable Children)

•    Staff Management

•    Training for local partners, supervisors and volunteers on Scoaial cohesion ,child protection and child right concepts, FTR, Case management, Psychosocial support life skills
•    Ensure that wellbeing center is properly staffed throughout opening hours. Ensure a system for correct attendance and absence for our volunteers and the rest of the staff.
•    Make sure that there is absolutely zero tolerance for corporal punishment or aggression from SCI or contracted partners ,volunteers, guards or other staff, directed to children.

Program Management

•    Monitor program implementation against the established indicators detailed in the projects Logical Framework and implementation plans.
•    Conduct field visits as required to verify program activities relative to stated targets.
•    Provide technical input and deliver (or support the delivery of) program in close coordination with other team members.
General:
•    Comply with Save the Children policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
•    Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential
•    Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
•    At least three years proven experience of program implementation in CP and livelihoods.
•    Proven abilities to work with IDPs and host communities.
•    Fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic and Kurdish
•    Experience of representation and ability to represent Save the Children effectively in external forums like food security cluster and cash working group.
•    Experience and understanding of gender sensitive programing.
•    Good understanding of community engagement and social cohesion.
•    Good understanding of humanitarian principles and don no harm.
•    Understanding and commitment to Save the Children aims, values, and principles
Desirable
•    Works well in and promotes teamwork, strong community outreach skills, detail oriented, honest, flexible and able to handle pressure well.
•    Strong sense of integrity
