ENVIRONMENTAL SECTION HEAD

At Eni, we are looking for an Environment Section Head within the Zubair Field Operating Division in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for providing environmental engineering expertise to onshore oil and gas Zubair field. The aim is to ensure environmental compliance of Project through the minimization of program impact on the environment, the correct evaluation of environmental risks, the adoption of the necessary preventive measures and environmental risk management procedures.

As a member of Zubair Field Operating Division, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the management of the environmental risks;
• Ensure that the program meets local regulations and defining the environmental standards for the project;
• Implementation of the results and recommendations of Environmental studies carried out by the specialized contractors;
• Assist with the development and implementation of project HSE plan;
• Management of the environmental interfaces among HSE team, operation and engineering teams;
• Coaching and mentoring of expat and local HSE staff on environmental matters;
• Responsible for ensuring that the program meets local regulations and defining the environmental standards for the operation;
• Responsible for the management of the environmental interfaces between Company and contractors working for the Company

• Engineering or technical degree
• Experience in the oil and gas industry
• Experience in Environmental roles
• Accreditation in the Environmental International Codes and Standard (1S0 14000)
• EIA Methodologies and implementation
• Environmental monitoring data analysis

• Knowledge on international standards for EIA and methodology of environmental surveys
• Knowledge on the implementation of the HSE Management System
• GHG emission study
• CEMS management and implementation
• Major spill management and business continuity
• Environmental Impact Assessment Study
• Environment Monitoring & Mapping
• Drilling Fluids & Wastes management
• Waste Management
• Radioprotection management
• Site & Soil Remediation
• Agriculture system and implementation
