Title of the position: Information management and Reporting Assistance

Work location: Basra (1 person) and Diwaniyah (1 person)

Starting date: A.S.A.P

Fulltime- 10 month’s contract

 

Summary: Al Khair Humanitarian Organization is a non-governmental organization and non-profit organization based in Maysan province. Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization is currently seeking to appoint a Information management and Reporting Assistance to help and assist its activities through the Qudrat project in cooperation with GIZ – PSD and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU).

 

The project focus on supporting job seekers and returnees and enhancing their qualification and access to employment. The main objective is to improve the access to employment opportunities, particularly in the private sector for job seekers and returnees in Basra and Diwaniya.

 

Key duties and responsibilities: 

The overall responsibility of the Reporting Assistance will be to:

 

  • Analyses and synthesize data;
  • Produce monthly Reports, quarterly indicator reports, annual reports and other narrative reports as requested.
  • Overseeing reporting and data quality in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provide guidance to program supported staff to ensure successful reporting of weekly information, monthly statistics.
  • Support, maintenance and / or build of access database to support the needs of project activities.
  • Monitor and ensure accuracy of data collection.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of monitoring and evaluation tools and frameworks
  • Perform any other needed duties as directed by supervisor.

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Reporting and Data Analysis.
  • Excellent fluency in written English is required and Arabic skills are an asset.
  • Proven writing and design skills and ability to present information clearly and concisely through visual data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to deliver reports according to strict donor requirements.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel to the field if needed.
