As a Phrasee Language Technician, you’ll have the chance to:
Work alongside a team of technical language pros to ensure our platform produces awesome machine-generated copy that meets our customers’ brand guidelines.
Ensure that customer language models are constructed to generate on-demand language without any grammatical, spelling, or dialect-specific errors.
Be trained in-house to work with and maintain the Phrasee language models. This combines linguistic, creative, and coding skills.
Troubleshoot, problem-solve and bug fix.
Work alongside your team lead to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
Partner with our awesome Customer Success team on various customer requirements.
You are:
A self-confessed language nerd! You studied Linguistics/English Lit/Modern Languages, or some other degree that’s applicable (tell us why).
Fluent in English (written/spoken).
Interested in using logic and coding skills (bonus points for knowledge of programming, especially Python).
Able to keep to very specific briefs and have impeccable attention to detail.
Someone who loves the written word and know how language should be adapted for different audiences, to suit different brands, and achieve different effects within a commercial setting.
A communications wiz. This is especially important in a highly collaborative, remote team. Asking questions is a VERY good thing and feedback is essential to the team’s success!
Somebody who Likes a structured, deadline-driven, and fast-paced environment.
A lover of working collaboratively and creatively to come up with solutions and new ways of approaching challenges.
It would be super awesome if you’re able to write fluently in Russian, Arabic, Japanese or have another second language.
This is an ideal role for a recent Linguistics graduate, looking for a way to utilise their love of language and learn Python, while working in a fast-growing global technology business.
