RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

 

•    Supervise the program officers to provide quality services through smooth implementation of their tasks.
•    Ensure that the beneficiaries access their full rights with dignity and without discrimination, in accordance with the principle of international human rights and national laws.
•    Provide assigned staff necessary support and cooperation in the discharge of their duties including sharing relevant information. 
•    Submits daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and other periodic reports to Program Manager as needed.
•    Develop relevant materials and documents as per the project needs.
•    Coordinate with relevant government entities and NGOs. 
•    Any other activity related duties within his /her duty station that may have direct impact on the success implementation of the project.
•    Carrying out various assessments. 
•    Ensure the quality of implementation and meet the standards.
•    Development of all related reports and assists the Program Manager in writing the donor’s reports as needed.
•    Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources.
•    Delegating tasks to staff according to their skills and workload with ensuring fair duties distribution.
•    Assist in development of procurement plan and ensure timely update and follow up.
•    Any other duties assigned by supervisor and relevant to the role.
•    Represent when needed Blumont in relevant events or clusters.
•    Coordinate with operations departments to organize the relevant events and distributions.
•    Closely coordinate with M&E unit and ensure effective communications.
•    Maintain up-to-date project database and assist in creating factsheets.

Required Education & Experience and Skills:

 

•    University degree, Organizational Behaviour, community development or related field.
•    Minimum five years of experience which are in a non-government organization. 
•    Demonstrated experience with training and capacity-building.
•    Proficient in written and spoken English and Arabic. 
•    Understanding of the operational context of the region and commitment to humanitarian principles. 
•    Willingness to travel within the various duty stations when required.
•    Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
•    Excellent organizational and communication skills.
•    Ability to work with minimal supervision.
•       Flexibility, commitment, patience, and a good sense of humour. 
•    Change driven and able to adapt to challenges.
•    Culture sensitive and ability to work in multinational, multi culture environment.
