SWEDO is a Swedish non-profit, non-political, non-religious humanitarian aid organization founded in 1991 in Stockholm, Sweden, which has been registered and licensed under the number of (675-F) in Kurdistan region of Iraq. SWEDO provides humanitarian aid to Internally Displaced Persons, Refugees, and host communities in Iraq, through health & hygiene, education, emergency response and protection projects.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out administrative duties by collecting data, sorting, filing and sending out project files to the right personnel, workers, and stakeholders.
  • Supervising the staff and project in progress and ensures that all issues related to the project are clarified and completed to avoid confusion and interruption during execution of project.
  • Produce monthly and weekly reports, indicator reports, and other narrative reports as requested.
  • Prepare and sort received documents and identifying forms that need to be entered into Data Collection Software or Access Data base as per the project requirement.
  • Verify data and correct data where necessary.
  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
  • Obtain further information for incomplete documents.
  • Check completed work for accuracy.
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies.
  • Uphold SWEDO code of conduct, and ensure that all persons of concern are treated with dignity and respect, in accordance with humanitarian principles and human rights standards.
    • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in administration/management, social sciences or any relevant field with good experience in data entry, reporting and team management;
  • Minimum two years’ experience in the same position or field;
  • Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic, both spoken and written is required.
  • Excellent command of MS-Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;
  • Ability to handle confidential matters, meet deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to organizational skill.
  • Fast keyboard typing skills.
  • Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and drive for result
  • Excellent planning and organization skills;
  • Excellent analytical and written skills;
  • Strong communication skills – both oral and written;
