Team Leader- Ninewa

The Iraq Health Access Organization (IHAO) is interested in hiring an Team Leader who will work in Ninewa governorate whose duties include:

  • Create a working environment and co-operation between all project managers from Community Health Workers to reach the objectives of the program.‎
  • Delegate tasks set deadlines for reporting, and perform tasks correctly for all Community Health Worker, ‎under the direct guidance of the project manager.‎
  • Monitor the day-to-day operation.‎
  • Motivate team members.‎
  • Listen to team members and identify problems, if any, and work to resolve them.‎
  • Provide feedback on the progress of work regularly to the project manager.‎
  • Actively promote the PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within the ‎IHAO and IHAO and UNFBA beneficiaries.‎
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned to him by the management of the ‎‎
  • Respect for codes of conduct, IHAO and UNFBA policies as gender-based violence team standards.‎

 

The ideal candidate will be graduate of psychology, social science or similar field with the following qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Having a positive attitude and team spirit.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Soft Skills in MS Office (excel, word) and e-mail.
  • Good understanding of the current situation/ongoing crisis.
  • Competency in writing progress reports.

Preferable qualifications:

  • Basic spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience in providing case management.
  • Prior experience in NGO work.
