Kurdistan Organization for Human Rights Watch (KOHRW) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization that was established in 1989 as a national NGO. KOHRW is a nationally registered NGO with years of operational experience in Iraq and KRI implementing humanitarian, recovery, and development programming.

 

Purpose& coverage: Hiring 5 trainers for the 4-days training on community outreach, proposal writing, and design of local peace initiatives for CBOs Kirkuk, Diyala, Anbar, Salaheldin, and Ninawa.

 

Date of training: Aug-Sep,2021

 

Job Overview

The Social Cohesion trainer will be responsible for delivering a 4-days training to 60 CBOs in their governorate about community outreach, proposal writing, and design of local peace initiatives. The trainer will be responsible for preparing related training material with consultation with the Social Cohesion unit in KOHRW and will write a training report after completion of the training.

 

Deliverable by the trainer:

  • Work plan for developing the training/workshops, including strategy and proposed methodologies.
  • Detailed Agenda for the 4-day training.
  • Power point presentations, flipcharts, videos, forms, exercises, etc. for training sessions;
  • Background reading material for the participants.
  • Technical advice and support to participants during the training/workshop.
  • Training workshop report with recommendations.
  • Final report on the implementation of the tasks after finishing the training/workshops

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Qualifications and preferred skills

  • Proven experience for at least 3 years as a trainer in social cohesion-related subjects.
  • Must have a ToT certificate from a well-known establishment.
  • Proven experience in writing training reports.
  • Native Arabic speaker, and good English language skills.
