Our team is comprised of innovators in science, design, technology, and human learning, who are applying their diverse talents to re-engineer education from the ground up. Our focus is on the science of learning, personalized curriculum, global experience, and holistic human development.
Our first two schools opened in the fall of 2019 and are located in Washington, DC and Shenzhen, China.
About the Position:
Whittle School and Studios is seeking an Arabic instructor (teacher or tutor) for our StudioEnrichment classes after school. The language instructor position is an independent contractor position (part-time and temporary) under the Studios programs umbrella.
Hours vary between 4pm-6pm, Monday-Thursdays and classes last 1 hour each.
The ideal candidate for language instruction would be comfortable and experienced working with one or more of the following age cohorts:
ELC: PK-1st
Lower School: 2nd-5th
Middle School: 6th- 8th
Upper School: 9th-12th
Students registering for these StudioEnrichment language classes have the option of two modes for their instruction: private tutoring or semi-private classes (with no more than 4 students). All classes are taught on our campus.

Pay range = $40-$50/hr commensurate with the successful candidate’s background and professional experience.
