Summary: Al Khair Humanitarian Organization is a non-governmental organization and non-profit organization based in Maysan province. Al-Khair Humanitarian Organization is currently seeking to appoint a Photographer and Videographer to help and assist its activities through the Qudrat project in cooperation with GIZ – PSD and funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU).
The project focus on supporting job seekers and returnees and enhancing their qualification and access to employment. The main objective is to improve the access to employment opportunities, particularly in the private sector for job seekers and returnees in Basra and Diwaniya
Key duties and responsibilities:
The overall responsibility of the Photographer and Videographer will be to:
- Proficiency in Photoshop and video editing software and live studio experience.
- Develop film and edit promotion and training videos targeting beneficiaries.
- May take photographs and films.
- Closely working with the team, produce videos / short videos for website and social media using the footage collected from the field and events.
- Able to manage multiple products simultaneously.
- Performs related job duties as required.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience photographic preferred.
- Ability to deliver high quality work even when under pressure
- Experience in graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and colour management.
- Good understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms.
