Studio Assistant
The Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is seeking a Studio Assistant for our Broadcast Operations team at our Headquarters office in Springfield, VA.
The Studio Assistant is responsible for providing technical operations support and work in a fast-paced control room environment for both live news and taped programming.
The Studio Assistant will understand and execute all functions of the Control Room Teleprompter, Playback and the Graphics positions to include the technical understanding of the teleprompter and playback. The incumbent will have the ability to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
Candidates are required to have:
- 2 years of professional work experience.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to maintain a strong sense of urgency in solving customer requests.
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills, and capable of working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Computer proficiency in Windows base software programs.
- Self-starter and a team player.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
